She learned life on the line at Daniel Boulud’s DBGB Kitchen & Bar in New York City, apprenticed with the CEO of Boloco to open a new location of his multi-unit burrito restaurant while at Dartmouth College, and later planned large-scale wine and food events at The Wine and Food Foundation of Texas in Austin. While there, she also taught cooking classes at the flagship Austin location of Whole Foods Market. Now living full-time in Dallas, Becka has started Plate & Platter as a way to bring chef-prepared inspiration into your home through weekly meals, dinner parties, and cooking classes.
